The 16th China Content
Broadcasting Network (CCBN2008) will be held from
March 21st to March 23rd 2008 in
Beijing. At the same time, “CCBN2008 China Digital
Television Summit” (CDTS) will also be held in the complex
building of China International Exhibition Center on March
22nd to March 23rd. Directed by CCBN
organizing committee and solely undertaken by
Radio&Television Information, SARFT, it is one of the
major activities during CCBN2008.
The main theme of
“CCBN2008 China Digital Television Summit” is “Welcome
the Great Year of Digitalization”.Sticking to the
concept of “Professional Seminar Promotes Industry
Development”, and in full expression of the strategy of
enhancing traditional media and new media development by
high-tech, organizing committee of the summit will hold a
large-scale, high-level China Digital Television Summit (CDTS)
in the complex building (capacity: 500 people) of China
International Exhibition Center. By then, people will
comprehensively analyze the great year of “digitalization”
in the 3 specials, 6 hot spot topics included in the summit.
“DTT”
special will open a discussion about comprehensively
starting DTT planning in broadcasting industry, wireless
transmission and coverage, DTT technology and innovation,
industrialization of DTT new services, and how to make
overall arrangement with TV on automobile and mobile TV
industries.
“Cable Network”
special
will focus on discussing the deployment of cable network
VAS, technique selection for two-way network rebuilding, how
to construct cable service system, and make an in-depth
discussion about the fusion and innovation of STB and
terminal industry.
“New
Media Industry”
special will promote an exchange about new
media technique supporting system, industry policy and
trends, expanding communication industry, digital family,
and especially about the development status and next-step
development trends of CMMB Olympics strategy. Mobile
multi-media broadcasting will co-form the comprehensive
coverage and service system for China radio and TV together
with cable, terrestrial and DBS.
Cable TV
Committee
of China Radio&Television Society and R&TI
Research under Radio&Television Information will
issue DTV industry reports to share large amount of
first-hand research data and in-depth industry analysis with
everyone.
By then, related leaders of SARFT, high-level management
from domestic and international DTV field, the mass system
and equipment providers and new media industry operators
will introduce DTV technology development, industry
operation experience, discuss the development trends of
China DTV industry together to comprehensively promote China
DTV development.
